This project is proposed with an aim to establish an independent elderly housing with integrated community center via biophilic approach to improve upon the long-running mental health issues among elderly demographics in Malaysia by introducing a social-friendly housing layout that promotes social inclusivity among elderly residents to avoid any cases of social isolation. The building is also designed to merge together with natural elements (vegetation, greeneries) and includes usage of raw material with repetitive pattern (timber) as per biophilic guidelines as it is proven to inflict a positive effects on the mental condition of the elderly and improving their cognitive function altogether.

in the elderly population here where the socio-cultural issues that is frequently related to those

strategies to counter the issues."
