The Centre for Mathematical Social Science (CMSS) at The University of Auckland (New Zealand) was pleased to host its Summer Workshop on 19-20 December 2022 in Honour of Arkadii Slinko, Founder and current co-Director of the CMSS.

This timing also coincided with Arkadii Slinko's 75th birthday.

Updates on the full program of the event can be found here.

The venue for the workshop was Sir Owen G Glenn Building (building 260 on this map), at 12 Grafton Road, 1040 Auckland, NZ.

All sessions were held in Case Room 2 on level 0 of Sir OGGB (room 260-057 on the map).

Catering during all breaks from the workshop were available on level 1 of Sir OGGB  (room 260-101, next to the main entrance of the building).

Parking was available in the building, as per map provided..

The 2022 CMSS Summer Workshop focussed on (but was not be restricted to) the following topics of Social Choice:

   - Domain restrictions and, in particular, Condorcet domains

   - Experiments with elections under various statistical cultures for voters

   - Arrowian aggregation

   - Computational social choice

This was mainly an in-person event. There was only one exception to this format, to accommodate an opening talk by Hervé Moulin (University of Glasgow) via Zoom on the first day of the event.  We were very pleased to have him contribute to the workshop, even if from a distance.

Other in-person keynote speakers were:

- Edith Elkind (University of Oxford, UK)

- Clemens Puppe (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology,  Germany)

- Piotr Faliszewski (AGH University of Science and Technology, Krakow, Poland)

- Remzi Sanver (Dauphine University, Paris, France)

Each day we had keynote talks and some contributed talks.
