Description: 51,000 finger amputations occur in the United States every year and many of these amputations occur in the workplace. 75% of heavy manual laborers cannot return to the job they held when they experienced their amputation(s), and 26% leave the workforce entirely. These astonishing numbers leave healthcare professionals wondering what solutions are out there to get patients back to their ADLs and back to their professions.
