Objectives

Welcome to 2021 data science online mini-conference!

This site presents the collaborative class projects of PSYC 500 Data Science from University of Kansas.

Our objectives are:

1) To present the data science projects PSYC 500 students created to explore various real world problems.

2) To show how data science techniques help us better understand various social issues and suggest wise interventions for our communities.

3) To show how Python programming environment (Colab) enable clear communication and knowledge transparency.

4) To share with colleagues and public the knowledge generated by our collective and collaborative scientific activities.

Theme

The theme of 2021 project is From Data To Wisdom.

Psyc 500 students formed seven data science teams. These teams have been working closely together throughout the half of the semester. Teams used the python language and data science technique they learned in the class to create their own data science research project. In this online mini-conference, our data science teams present and communicate our projects.
