Introduction of the Joint Workshop

The 2021 Japan-Taiwan Tokyo Tech-NYCU Joint Workshop is organized by the Laboratory for Materials and Structures (MSL) and Laboratory for Future Interdisciplinary Research of Science and Technology (FIRST) at Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo Tech), the College of Engineering at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU), and the Ministry of Science and Technology in Taiwan (MOST) office in Japan, TECRO. The workshop will be held on May 28, 2021 in the format of virtual online meeting. Main theme of the Joint Workshop is to promote cooperation between Universities in Japan and Taiwan.

The keynote session will include speeches by Dr. Yu-Han Tsou, Senior Advisor & General Director, Science and Technology Division, MOST, TECRO in Japan, and Prof Kung-Hwa Wei, the Dean of College of Engineering at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University. Invited talks will be given by researchers from Tokyo Tech, NYCU, National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan, Ritsumeikan University in Japan, Nation Tsing Hua University in Taiwan, and National Applied Research Laboratories in Taiwan.
