Pre-Event Information

AIRPORT PICK-UPS
Players that are traveling alone (without parent/guardian) will be picked up by Baseball Factory staff AT BAGGAGE CLAIM. Our staff will have a Baseball Factory shirt and/or a sign with a Baseball Factory logo. Players traveling alone should have the following name and cell phone number of the Baseball Factory staff that will be at the airport and in charge of all pick-ups, BF Contact Added 12/23.
Please note that unless players noted on their travel forms as traveling without parent (by checking appropriate box), our staff will not have their flight information – we are at the airport for the sole purpose of picking up players that are traveling without a parent(s). If you are traveling with your son, please plan on arranging transportation for you and your son to the facility – and for yourself while you are in town for the event. We are unable to provide transportation on the team bus for anyone other than players and staff.
With many flights arriving around the same time and with the large size of the airport, it may not be possible for a staff member to meet you at baggage claim right away. If this situation arises, we will call or text the player (please make sure we have her mobile number) and let her know when to expect us. Please stay at your baggage claim until our staff member is able to meet you
WHAT PLAYERS NEED TO BRING
Gray or White Baseball pants (at least 2 pair)
Socks (at least 2 pair)
Belt (any color; must wear a belt if pants have belt loops)
All game/training equipment necessary, such as bat*, glove, cleats, turfs/sneakers, catching gear and any other position specific equipment.
T-shirts and shorts for evening workouts
Copy of Health Insurance Card to be kept in your equipment bag
Spending money for souvenirs and/or extra snacks
* PLEASE NOTE: You cannot carry a baseball bat on an airplane, nor can it be part of carry-on luggage. It must be inside a checked baseball bag or suitcase.
MEALS & Transportation
Meals and transportation are provided for ALL players that will be rooming together. Players that are rooming with their parent(s) are responsible for their own transportation and all meals other than lunch.
LODGING
Sheraton Mesa Wrigleyville (Players rooming together)
Courtyard by Marriott Mesa Wrigleyville (Players rooming with parent)
Please note: For all players rooming together; proof of COVID Vaccination or PCR Negative Test prior to event required.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
Players that are rooming together ARE NOT allowed to leave the facility for any reason once on-site.
The possession and/or use of drugs, alcohol or cigarettes is strictly prohibited – and may be grounds for immediate dismissal from the event.
A curfew time at which all players are to be in their own rooms is set on the itinerary. After that time, players found to be in violation of curfew are subject to disciplinary actions.
At no time should there be any female guests in your room.

PARENT INFORMATION
All activities are open for parents to watch, but please note the following rules:
There are NO admission fees charged
Meals noted on itinerary are for players and staff only
Parents are not allowed in dugouts, on any field, inside any batting cages, or in any player rooms
Please do not yell at coaches or players
