Received the B.S.degree in Chemistry from Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Airlangga, Surabaya, in 1986, the M.Sc, degree from Department of Chemistry (Biochemistry) Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Institut Teknologi Bandung, in 1994, and the Doctorate degree from Department of Biology (Microbiology), Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Institut Pertanian Bogor, in 2004. On 1999, 2002 and 2003, she joined JSPS short course fellows in Japan. She joined post doctoral fellows program KNAW Netherlands on 2005 and 2007 at University of Groningen and also got KNAW-Multi networking Grant, The Netherlands on 2009 collaboration with Laboratory of Protein Crystallography, University of Groningen, The Netherlands .
She achieved the Professor in Biochemistry on 2010 and she was appointed as Adjunct Professor at Asia University in Taiwan in 2017-2018. From 1987 to present, she worked as Biochemistry lecturer at Dept. Of Chemistry, Faculty of Science and Technology in Universitas Airlangga. From 2011 to present, she appointed as the Head of Proteomic Laboratory at Institute of Tropical Disease in Universitas Airlangga that rebuilt as Center for Bio-Molecule Engineering in 2019. From 2007 to 2017 worked as Academic Director at Universitas Airlangga, then June 2017- December 2019, she is appointed as Excecutive Director for Airlangga Global Engagement at Universitas Airlangga. Since 2021-now she is appointed as Vice Rector for Research, Innovation and Community Development. The research grants during five years (2013 – 2019) are (1). Join Research with Institute for protein Research-Osaka University Japan on Crystallization for CBM of Geobacillus thermoleovorans IT-08 , (2). RAPID Research Grant and (3) STRANAS Grant, funding by Indonesian Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education.and her current research interests include structure, mechanism and function analysis of Enzymes.
Related to the pandemic Covid19, she is appointed as Coordinator of Covid19 Research Product in Universitas Airlangga.She has already published the research at international journal, also awarded of 2 national patents. The research collaboration is being done with overseas universities, research institute, and industries. She is actively also participated as invited speaker related to International Collaboration on Higher Education strategy, output and impact. Prof. Dr. Ni Nyoman Tri Puspaningsih, M.Si is the steering committee Indonesian Society on Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (PBBMI) and Asian Community of Glycoscience and Glycotechnology (ACGG). She is also member of Indonesian Chemical Society, Indonesian Protein Society, Asean Microbiology Network and Utilization (AnMicro).
Prof. Sr (Surveyor) Dr. Hishamuddin Mohd Ali is Professor of Property Asset Management in the Faculty of Built Environment and Surveying at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). He graduated with a Bachelor of Surveying (Property Management) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and continue his study at Portsmouth Business School, University of Portsmouth, UK and graduated with M.Sc in Financial Decision Analysis. Prof Sr Dr. Hishamuddin then pursuing his study at PhD level in Property Investment and Finance from the University of Salford, United Kingdom, specialising in Property Portfolio Strategy. His research interest covers asset management strategy, property market dynamics, investment management and valuation. Dr. Hishamuddin has more than 37 years of combined experience in academic, research and real estate practices. He is actively involved in property research and consultancy projects and has led 16 research and consultancy projects worth approximately RM3.4millions. Prof. Sr Dr. Hishamuddin is well-known academia within the real estate industry in Malaysia. He is a qualified professional as a registered Valuer, Property Manager and Estate Agent. At the international level, he is an International Certified Valuation Specialist (ICVS) in business and intangible asset valuation. He is a Fellow Member of the Malaysian Institute of Professional Property and Facilities Manager (MIPFM), a member of the European Real Estate Society (ERES), a member of Royal Institute Surveyors Malaysia (MRISM) and a member of Business Valuation Association Malaysia (BVAM). His vast experience in the real estate sector has been recognized as he was designated as one of the expert panels for National Real Estate Research Coordinator (NAPREC) since 2008 to date. Currently, he is the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International) of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia since June 2021.
Chongrak Wachrinrat, President of Kasetsart University, Thailand, since 2019, is an expert in silviculture, forest soils, and urban forestry. Before taking up his current position, as Acting President of Kasetsart University in February 2016, he had served in a number of administrative roles at Kasetsart University, including Dean of the Faculty of Forestry (2014- 2016) , Head of the Silviculture Department, the Faculty of Forestry ( 2009- 2013) , Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Forestry (2006-2009), Head and Acting Head of the Trat Agroforestry Research and Training Research Station ( 2003- 2007) , In addition, he has also been a Director of the Center for Advanced Studies in Tropical Natural Resources, Kasetsart University Institute for Advanced Studies (KUIAS) since 2009.
Dr. Fan-Gang Tseng received B.S. degree from PME at NTHU, Taiwan in 1989, and M.S. degree from IAM at NTU, Taiwan, in 1991. In 1998, he received Ph.D. degree from mechanical engineering at UCLA, USA under the supervision of Prof. C.-M. Ho and C.-J. Kim. After one year with USC/ISI as a senior engineer. He joined NTHU ESS as an assistant professor in August, 1999, and then advanced to professor in August 2006, and is currently a distinguished professor with ESS Dept. as well as NEMS Institute since 2014. He was the Department Chair of NTHU ESS from 2010 to 2013, AVP for Global Affair from 2013 to 2014 at NTHU, Visiting Scholar to Koch Institute of Integrative Cancer Research in MIT USA from 2014 to 2015, Dean of NTHU Nuclear Science College from 2016 to 2017, and is currently the Vice President for R&D at NTHU since 2017. He was elected an ASME fellow in 2014. His research interests are in the fields of BioNEMS, Biosensors, Micro-Fluidics, Tissue Chips, Nano Hydrogen Storage, and Fuel Cells. He received 60 patents, wrote 10 book chapters, published more than SCI 310 Journal papers and 360 conference technical papers with a H-index 42 and more than 7500 citations in google scholar. He received several awards, including, MOST Shakelton Scholar (2019-2021), National Innovation Awards (2010, 2014, 2020), MOST Outstanding in research awards (2010, 2014), Y.Z. Hsu Scientific Paper Award (2014), MOST Mr. Wu, Da-Yo Memorial Award (2006), NTHU New Faculty research Award (2002), and more than twenty best papers and other awards in various international conferences and competitions. He was the General Co-Chair for MicroTAS 2018 and is currently on the Board of Directors for CBMS.
Professor Banchong Mahaisavariya is former Dean of The Faculty of Graduate Study of Mahidol University during 2007-2014. He is currently President of Mahidol University. He is now serving as the President of the Royal College of Orthopaedic Surgeon of Thailand (RCOST) (2016-2018). He obtained medical degree, internship and residency training in orthopaedic surgery from the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital. His research works had been published in prominent journals such as J Bone Joint Surgery, Clinical Orthopaedic and Related Research, Acta Orthopaedic Scandinavia, British Journal of Surgery and Injury, etc. He was a Visiting Fellow at the Centre de Traumatologie et Orthopaedie in Strasbourg, France in 1990. He was a founding member of the Asian Association of Dynamic Osteosynthesis (AADO) in 1992. He was AO Fellow in 1995 with Prof. Marvin Tile and Prof. Joseph Schaztsker at Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto Canada. He was promoted to a full Professor since 1997.
His special interests include: the biomechanics of fracture fixation, the development of new implant designs for fracture fixation, new surgical techniques for fracture fixations, etc. He has served on several committees in the Orthopaedic Societies both domestic (RCOST) and global levels such as ASEAN Orthopaedic Association (AOA), Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association (APOA), AADO, EFORT and SICOT. He also serves in the editorial board and reviewer of several international journals such as JBJS, CORR, JOS, Techn Orthop.
Prof. C. Muthamizhchelvan, Vice Chancellor, SRMIST, holds a Ph. D in Material Science from Anna University, Chennai, India and is a recognized Guest Professor at Shizuoka University, Japan.
He has been associated with SRM Institutions since 1985 and has served in various academic and administrative roles for the past 35+ years. He is a participative leader driving the vision of the university by initiating and executing path breaking ideas, developing people and devising strategies to transform the university to global standards. He is a strong advocate for transforming curriculum towards the design thinking approach based on problem solving that enhances the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation. He has led the institution on international and national accreditation processes like ABET (USA), IET (UK), NBA and NAAC. He is also known for piloting the drive for online and virtual classes even before the recent pandemic.
Professor is widely networked with the academic leaders across the world and associated with the various professional bodies and also serves in key positions. He is a Fellow of IET, UK, Fellow, IEI, India, Executive Committee Member of Indian Science Congress Association, Kolkata, Certified Member of Management and Leadership Education, Harvard University. He is passionate about sports and games and is also an active member in many social organizations.

BIOGRAPHY
Assistant Professor Dr. Surapong Chatpun has joined the Faculty of Medicine, Prince of Songkla University since 2005. He is a principle investigator of Cardiovascular Engineering Research Laboratory (CERLab). His research is focused on applying the engineering approaches such as continuum mechanics, numerical methods e.g. FEM, fluid mechanics e.g. CFD, image processing and computer aided design combined with life sciences knowledge and available technologies to bring us to understand function and mechanisms of the circulatory system in both normal and pathological conditions. He also designs and invents medical devices not only for a cardiovascular system but also for other clinical applications such as rehabilitation and orthopedics.
Prof. Tran, Diep Tuan is the President, Board of Trustees of University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City (UMP), which is one of the two most influencing medical universities of Vietnam. Under his tenure, the UMP has demonstrated its strong commitment for innovation and quality improvement.
Prof. Tran received his M.D. training at UMP with excellent qualification (1989), and then specialized in pediatrics (1990-1993) and later in pediatric neurology. He got his Ph.D. training at Tokyo University (1998-2003) and post-doctoral training at National Institutes for Physiological Sciences of Japan (2003) and at University of Michigan (2003-2005). He was a fellow of Asian Youth Fellowship (1997), Monbusho Fellowship (1998), John J. Bonica Award (2002), Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (2003), International Brain Research Organization (2003), WHO/NINDS International Neurological Science Fellowship (2003), International Dean’s Course in South East Asia (2010), Program for Leading Innovation with Harvard Macy Institute (2013), and Leadership Development Program (2016). His research interest is pain imaging, pediatric neurology, and children quality of life. He has published more than 50 articles in international peer review journals. His main agenda is to make UMP a leading health profession university in Vietnam and an internationally recognized institution in the region.
Atty. Danilo “Danicon” L. Concepcion is the 21st President of the University of the Philippines (UP), a system consisting of eight constituent universities spread throughout 21 campuses across the country.
He is widely respected as one of the Philippines' leading authorities in Corporation Law, specifically corporate governance, rehabilitation, and insolvency. Just before his appointment as UP President, Concepcion was Dean of the UP College of Law.
He served as President of the De La Salle-Araneta University from 2000-2002 on secondment from UP. He returned to UP in 2002 to teach at the College of Law, and served in various capacities as Associate Dean of the UP College of Law, Head of the UP Law Center, and Director of the Institute of Judicial Administration until May 2006. He was appointed Vice President for Legal Affairs of the UP System in February 2011, and was elected the 14th Dean of the UP College of Law in June 2011, serving until 2017. In 2015, he was appointed Executive Director of the UP Bonifacio Global City.
He was an elected member of the Batasang Pambansa in 1978 and served until 1984 as a representative of the youth sector. Moreover, he served in various capacities for the government including his appointment as Associate Commissioner of the Securities and Exchange Commission (1996-2000), and Chief-of-Staff of the Chief Presidential Legal Counsel (1996), among others.
Currently, he sits on the Board of Governors of the Philippine Red Cross. He has been a Governor of the Philippine Red Cross since 2014. He also teaches at the Philippine Judicial Academy and is a member of its Civil Code Committee. He was a member of the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education Governing Board, as well as the Supreme Court of the Philippines’ Committee on Legal Education and Bar Matters.
Aside from being an academic and an administrator, he has rendered a distinct public service by giving free legal advice over radio and television for the past 15 years, most notably on DZMM Teleradyo’s “Usapang de Campanilla”.
He graduated with a degree in Agricultural Engineering, summa cum laude, from the De La Salle-Araneta University in 1979. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws from the UP College of Law in 1983 (cum laude) and his Master of Laws from the University of London in 1986 as a Chevening Scholar.
Professor Tan Eng Chye was appointed President of the National University of Singapore (NUS) on 1 January 2018.
Prof Tan is a passionate and award-winning educator. He was a pioneer architect of the current academic system in NUS, and has seeded many initiatives such as the Special Programme in Science, University Scholars Programme, University Town Residential College Programme, Grade-free Year, and Technology-enhanced Education.
Prof Tan received the Public Administration Medal (Gold) at Singapore's National Day Awards in 2014 for his outstanding contributions to education. He was awarded the Wilbur Lucius Cross Medal, which honours exceptional alumni in the areas of scholarship, teaching, academic administration and public service, by Yale University in 2018. Prof Tan was also conferred an Honorary Doctor of Science from the University of Southampton in 2018 in recognition of his achievements as “an innovative and exceptional teacher, and then as a distinguished and respected leader in academia”.
Professor Dato’ Ir. Dr. Mohd. Hamdi Abd. Shukor was born in 1971 and raised in Muar, Johor. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) degree from the Imperial College, London, England; a Master of Science degree in Advanced Manufacturing and Management Technology from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, United Kingdom; and a Doctor of Engineering degree from Kyoto University, Japan.
His academic career commenced in 1995 in Universiti Malaya (UM) as a tutor and he later became a lecturer in the Department of Engineering Design and Manufacture in 1997. He was then appointed as the Head, Department of Engineering Design and Manufacture (2003-2006). He was promoted to Associate Professor in 2006 and then served as a full Professor in 2010. He was also the former Dean, Faculty of Engineering, UM (2009-2011) and the former Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International), UM (2011-2014). On top of that, his service and expertise are also recognised internationally. He was a Visiting Professor at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2015-2016.
His astounding academic excellence as well as his remarkable leadership quality have made him a natural fit to helm Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia as its Vice-Chancellor in 2019 and in November 2020, he assumes the role of leading Universiti Malaya as the 13th Vice-Chancellor.
In the aspect of research, Dato’ Mohd. Hamdi founded and has served as the Head of the Centre of Advanced Manufacturing and Material Processing (AMMP) and Centre for Research in Industry 4.0 (CRI4.0) in UM. In addition to producing more than 160 impactful publications in journals indexed by the Web of Science, he also has recorded a h-index of 33 with total citation of over 3850.
Throughout his career as an academician, he has mentored more than 150 postgraduate candidates particularly in the field of advanced manufacturing research and material processing. To date, he has supervised a total of 66 doctoral candidates.
Dato' Mohd. Hamdi's achievements, especially in the commercialisation of research activities, were truly proven when he was awarded the Universiti Malaya Excellence Award for two consecutive years i.e. on 2012 and 2013. In recognition of his outstanding service and contribution, Dato' Mohd. Hamdi was conferred the Darjah Johan Mangku Negara (J.M.N.) by KDYMM Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong in 2019 and also Darjah Dato’ Paduka Negeri Sembilan (D.P.N.S.), which carries the title of Dato' by DYMM Yang di-Pertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan in 2020.

Dr. Norazah Nordin is a Professor of Learning Technologies and Innovation, and currently the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Industry, Alumni and Community Partnership), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Her research areas include Massive Online Open Courses (MOOC), Mobile Learning, ICT in Lifelong Learning, and Instructional Design in Digital Learning. The projects that she leads include the development of Higher Education Active Learning Spaces (HEALS), a collaborative research project with the Australian Innovative University Network. The most current projects that she leads are Learning Design in the 4th Industrial Revolution and the 4IR Cross-Creative Learning Innovation for Autism. She is a University Council member of the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) Lifelong Learning Hub and an active member of the ASEM Research Network 1, Development of ICT Skills and the Culture of e-Learning in Lifelong Learning. Professor Dato' Dr. Norazah is also well known for her contribution in various international research projects. She spearheaded the development of Higher Education Active Learning Spaces (HEALS) project; a collaborative research project between the research universities in Malaysia, with the Australian Innovative University Network (La Trobe University and James Cook University). This research has successfully developed a framework for an active learning space that is compatible with all educational institutions, based on pedagogy, space, and technology. A leading international researcher in the digitization of education, she was recently selected by Google Education, one of the world's leading digital industries, to represent Malaysia and lead research on Google Solution applications for education in the country. She is also a member of the International Association for Blended Learning (IABL), playing an active role as a reference expert representing the Southeast Asia. She has successfully developed the world's first policy paper on blended learning known as the IABL Dubai Declaration: Blended Learning 2025. She was appointed to the Editorial Board of the Internet and Higher Education Journal, which is ranked in the Web of Science's Social Science Citation Index in Quartile One (Q1) (WoS SSCI).
