In this event, youth are encouraged to be creative and present a unique robot exhibit or challenge for display. The robots must be autonomous and projects which interact with humans are encouraged. The robot exhibits will be judged for creativity and technical content. Youth who are brand new to robotics, as well as experienced youth, are welcome to show off their robot and field designs.

The Programming Competition is for youth, ages 8 - 18, who have used the Scratch programming language or JavaScript to create an interactive art project, story, simulation or game. Participants should submit their projects by noon on Saturday, February 1.
Awards will be given at the 2020 Robot and Technology Expo on Saturday, February 8, and the public will have an opportunity to view the submitted projects at the event.
There is a $5 fee per entry, and you may enter more than once. Please make your payment here.

Submitting Projects:
All projects are due by noon on Saturday, February 1.
Instructions for submitting Scratch Projects:
To submit your project:
1. Open your project in Scratch
2. Click on File, then Download to Your Computer
3. Please name your file with your name, then the name of your project, then the project category.
For example: JohnSmith_Cars_Game.sb2, or JohnSmith_Vacation_Story.sb2
4. Send an email to travistrokey+scratch@gmail.com with your project as an attachment.
5. You will receive an e-mail reply that shows we received your entry.
