Bonnyville Skipperoos

The Bonnyville Skipperoos originally got their start back in the late 80’s thanks to a dedicated team of teachers and parents of Duclos School. The Skipperoos were involved in the skipping community for the next 10-15 years where they set Provincial and National records and were an international demo team. Unfortunately the club took a hiatus of about 15 years. In the fall of 2012 Skye Christians decided to re-ignite the club up again. She contacted former Skipperoos and current members of RSA to assist her with the club. Through a few years of rebuilding, it wasn’t long before The Skipperoos were starting to make their impression on the competition floor. Thanks to the dedication of their head coach Renée Marchildon the Skipperoos are confident going into their 6th year of competitive skipping and look forward to many more years competing and promoting the sport. Best of luck to all of the individuals and teams participating in the 2019 Nationals!

Camrose Spirals

The Camrose Spirals Jump Rope Club has been around for nearly 30 years. This year we have 27 competitive athletes and 5 instructors. We are looking forward to sending our team to Nationals in Olds, Alberta this season. Our team is coached by Jodi Harrison, who still competes, and a former Spirals athlete, Carley Angelstad. We are so lucky to have these dedicated women put so much time and effort into our athletes!! The Spirals also run a recreational program for 70 athletes from Sept.- Dec. each year, and this year we launched a beginner class for adults. We have 3 new athletes that bridged from rec to competitive in January. We also have 6 athletes, and Coach Jodi, heading to Oslo, Norway in July for the World Jump Rope Competition. We wish everyone good luck at the upcoming competitions this season, and safe travels to all..
