GOAL of Computer Game Workshop

The goal of the 2019 TCGA (Taiwan Computer Game Association) Computer Game Workshop (TCGA 2019) is to establish an international forum for researchers and engineers to present their ideas and experiences in the fields of Computer Games. TCGA 2019 welcomes paper submissions on innovative work from researchers in academia, industry and government describing original research work in Computer Games. Workshop topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Current state of game-playing programs for classic and modern board and card games
  • Virtual and video games
  • New theoretical developments in game-related research
  • General scientific contribution produced by the study of games
  • Social aspects of computer games
  • Cognitive research of how humans play games
  • Learning in games
  • General game playing
  • Board games and card games
  • Puzzle games
  • Imperfect information and non-deterministic games
  • Player/opponent modeling in games
  • Network games
  • Games for mobile platforms

SUBMISSION of papers (Computer Game Workshop):

  • Manuscripts can be written in English or Chinese.
  • The length of submitted manuscripts should not be more than 8 pages.
  • Papers must be submitted in PDF format.

  • Submission of a paper entails a commitment that, if the paper is accepted, at least one of the authors should register and attend the workshop to present the work. Once the review process of this workshop begins, contributors shall not send the submitted manuscript to other journals or conferences/workshops for review or publication.
