Alaska Sacred Harp 2019
The Alaska State Sacred Harp Convention is held annually in Alaska the 4th Saturday before the 4 th Sunday in October, and the Friday night before. This two-day event draws singers from across Alaska, the Pacific Northwest, other parts of the Lower 48, and the world. In addition to the great singing, singers will enjoy local Alaskan fare (local saying, "When the tide goes out, the table is set!) , whale watching, a trip to the Alaska Raptor Center and Fortress of the Bear habitat, and exploring historic, beautiful Sitka. Renowned singing school teacher Dan Britain will lead the school.
Dates for the 12th Annual Convention are October 25th-26th, 2019.
