FROM THE SECRETARY'S DESK

We are preparing for the Grand Lodge Communication and there is a chance that we might take a Master Architect award this year. If not, it is not because the Officers of the Lodge haven’t tried.

I am sure that the Master and Wardens have explained the two upcoming fund raisers. They should be a lot of fun and raise the funds we need to operate.

If you are going to Grand Lodge you need to get your reservations in. See me for the application or just go on line to the Grand Lodge web site. While you are there, take a look at the Copper Post. Very well done and even has an article and picture of our Lodge.

It is May and not too soon to be thinking about who is going to be going to be the next Master and Wardens. You should also be thinking about any office you may want. Any office in the Lodge is important and if you really think about it, you probably know the work you just need to do a bit of study to fit the part. The Lodge needs you and your experience. It is never too late or early to start to study parts in degrees or just opening and closing so get to it.

As Brother Benjamin Franklin said, “Masonic labor is purely a labor of love. He who seeks to draw Masonic wages in gold and silver will be disappointed. The wages of a Mason are in dealings with one another, sympathy begets sympathy, kindness begets kindness, helpfulness begets helpfulness, and these are the wages of a Mason.

G-d Bless and see you in Lodge
