2-Minute Rule is a local-first productivity app for capturing small tasks, running a short timer, and keeping a simple action history.
Information handled by the app
The app lets you enter task titles, optional notes, time estimates, completion status, and app settings such as the daily target and default timer length. This information is stored locally on your device using Flutter shared preferences.
No account or cloud sync
2-Minute Rule does not require an account. It does not send your task records to a server and does not provide cloud backup or synchronization.
No analytics or advertising
The app does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking SDKs, or behavioral profiling.
No sensitive permissions
The app does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, calendar, SMS, phone, or payment permissions.
Data retention and deletion
Task records remain on your device until you delete them in the app, clear the app storage, or uninstall the app. The Settings screen includes a clear records action for removing saved tasks and action history from local storage.
Children
2-Minute Rule is intended as a general productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13.

If this policy changes, the updated policy will be included with the app listing or made available through the support contact above.
