moldslug is the musical and visual project of Chilean producer, composer and visual artist Lucifel Brices, also known as Luc Bri or simply Luci. Their intricate sound combines acoustic instruments with glitchy textures, creating a mix of the analog, natural world and the digital, artificial one. They chose the name ‘moldslug’ because they wanted to come up with a word that sounded like something not very pleasant but could look aesthetically appealing; like the combination of mucus and colorful fungus.

Su sonido intrincado combina instrumentos acústicos con texturas glitch, creando una mezcla del mundo analógico y natural con el digital y artificial. Eligió el nombre ‘moldslug’ (babosa de moho) porque quería inventar una palabra que sonara como algo no muy agradable pero que pudiera resultar estéticamente atractivo; como la combinación de mucosidad y hongo colorido.
