Paul Reed (Det B CO and Bn S-1 8/64-3/66) ordered a MIBARS shirt and it seems to be a little too snug in places so Paul would to sell it and order another shirt.
The shirt size is XL and red/stone in color, see picture. It has the Bn crest, with 1st MI Bn (ARS) over the crest and Viet Nam Veteran under the crest

Det A Reunion 7-10 July 2011
MIBARS Det A Alumni and three spouses attended our informal reunion in Southern Pines, NC, July 7th through the 10th. We had hoped for a few more but last minute family and health issues reduced the count. We had a wonderful time sharing photos and memories. Gary and Dan played golf at Little River Golf Resort on Friday and had the place to themselves. On Saturday most of the group toured Ft. Bragg. The fort has changed so much over the years that we could not find the area where the 45th MID was put together prior to heading to Vietnam in the fall of 1967. We visited the Special Forces museum at Ft Bragg. The tour guide was a former Green Beret. We got special treatment when he learned that we served in the same area in Vietnam (III Corp) as he did and in the same time frame. Afterwards we went to the Airborne and Special Operations Museum in Fayetteville, NC. This is a beautiful facility and a very interesting museum. We encourage you to stop and see it if you are in the area. It is a very short distance from I 95. A few guys topped off the event sharing beers and war stories at the hotel with members of the Norwegian and British Armies. They were at Ft Bragg for training.
Seeing the guys again is always the best part of our reunions and this was not an exception. All of us want to thank Dave Iverson for his outstanding work organizing the reunion, making hotel arrangements, driving, directions and meal planning. We would have been lost without him. We are all looking forward to the big reunion in Branson next July. We will post some photos soon.
