I knew Lt Judd Grubbs when he was assigned to the Battalion. He joined us at Ft. Bragg and went to VN where he was discharged about mid-tour. Don't remember which Det he was in. He later came back on active duty and retired as a LTC. I ran into Judd any number of times while we were both kicking around the Army. He retired and went to work for Lockheed in Sunnyvale, Ca, where I again saw a lot of him. He lived in Monterrey, Ca and died in early July 2008 of cancer. A real great guy and officer.
