If you want the ultimate over-ear companion for long gaming sessions, travel, and deep immersion with best head phones for xbox performance in mind, choose 1Mii Y8+; if you need a discreet, ultra-lightweight solution specifically designed for side sleepers who require silence at night, choose Ertuly T33.
These two devices occupy completely different corners of the audio market, yet they share a surprising commonality: both utilize Bluetooth 6.0 technology to ensure modern connectivity. However, their physical designs, intended use cases, and feature sets diverge so sharply that choosing between them requires a clear understanding of your primary environment. One is built to be worn on your head for hours while you game or commute; the other is engineered to disappear inside your ear canal so you can drift off without pressure points. I have analyzed the specifications and design intent of both to help you make the right call for your specific needs.
• 1Mii Y8+: Delivers massive 100-hour battery life and premium over-ear comfort with hybrid ANC, but it is bulky and not suitable for sleeping on your side.
• Ertuly T33: Offers an ultra-thin profile perfect for side sleeping and compact portability, though it sacrifices extended wear time and lacks the immersive bass response of over-ear models.
• Who each pick is for: The 1Mii Y8+ is for gamers and travelers who need all-day power; the Ertuly T33 is for light sleepers and commuters who prioritize zero-pressure comfort.
The 1Mii Y8+ is a powerhouse designed for people who live outside their homes or spend significant time in loud environments. Its most defining characteristic is the sheer endurance of its battery. With an average playtime of 100 hours, this device eliminates the anxiety of running out of power mid-session. Whether you are embarking on a cross-country flight, a week-long camping trip, or simply using it as your daily driver for work and play, the 1Mii Y8+ stays ready when you are. This level of battery capacity is rare in the over-ear category and speaks directly to the needs of heavy users who cannot afford interruptions.
For those seeking high-fidelity audio, the Y8+ features 40-millimeter dynamic drivers capable of a frequency range from 20 Hz to 40 KHz. This wide spectrum ensures that deep bass hits hard and highs remain crisp, which is critical for experiencing the full depth of soundtracks in video games or movies. The inclusion of LDAC Hi-Res Audio support further cements its position as a choice for audiophiles who demand clarity. When paired with the custom EQ available via the dedicated app, you can tailor the sound signature to match your specific preferences, whether that means boosting the low-end for a more impactful experience or smoothing out the treble for a balanced mix.

Comfort is another pillar of the 1Mii Y8+ design. The headphones utilize hydrolysis-resistant protein leather and memory foam padding, creating a seal that is gentle on the ears even after hours of continuous use. The over-ear placement distributes weight across the head rather than pressing into the ear canal, making it ideal for long gaming marathons where distraction-free focus is essential. The hybrid active noise cancellation (ANC) effectively reduces low-frequency droning noises from planes, trains, and traffic, allowing you to isolate yourself in a quiet bubble. If you are looking for the best head phones for xbox that offer immersive spatial awareness and deep bass without fatigue, this model stands out. However, its size and weight mean it is not a viable option for anyone trying to sleep on their side; the bulky ear cups would create immediate discomfort.
In stark contrast to the over-ear dominance of the Y8+, the Ertuly T33 is a masterclass in minimalism and specialized comfort. These are true wireless earbuds designed with a singular focus: helping you sleep. At approximately 3 grams per bud, they are incredibly lightweight, ensuring that they do not press against your pillow when you lie on your side. The earpiece shape is specifically engineered to be ultra-thin, eliminating the bulk that typically makes traditional earbuds unbearable for side sleepers. If you have ever struggled to find a pair of headphones that doesn't hurt after twenty minutes of lying down, the T33 solves that problem immediately.
The noise-canceling capabilities here are tailored for sleep environments. The T33 utilizes smart hybrid ANC technology that claims to block up to 98% of disruptive sounds. In practice, this translates to neutralizing snoring, traffic rumble, and appliance hums that often keep light sleepers awake. The ability to switch between ANC and Transparency Mode with a triple-tap gives you control over your auditory environment without needing to reach for your phone. Furthermore, the Sleep Mode, activated by four quick taps, mutes all alerts and prevents accidental touches, ensuring that the device remains passive and unobtrusive throughout the night.
Battery life on the T33 is sufficient for nightly use, offering 8 hours of playback on a single charge and extending to 48 hours total with the charging case. While this does not match the 100-hour marathon of the Y8+, it is perfectly adequate for a user who primarily uses the device at night. The fast-charging feature, which fills the buds in just 1.5 hours, adds to the convenience factor. The IPX6 sweat resistance rating also makes these earbuds versatile enough for workouts or commuting, providing a dual-purpose utility that over-ear headphones generally lack. If you need an anc headphone for xbox only occasionally during short breaks but mostly for sleeping, the T33 offers a unique blend of silence and portability that no other form factor can match.
• Best for battery life → 1Mii Y8+: With 100 hours of continuous playtime versus the T33's 8 hours, the Y8+ wins decisively for long trips or multi-day usage without charging.
• Best for side sleeping → Ertuly T33: The 3g weight and ultra-thin profile of the T33 make it the only logical choice for those who sleep on their sides; the Y8+ is physically impossible to use comfortably in this position.
• Best for immersive bass and fidelity → 1Mii Y8+: The 40mm drivers and wide frequency response of the Y8+ provide a richer, deeper soundstage compared to the 13mm drivers found in the T33.
• Best for portability and discretion → Ertuly T33: These tiny buds fit easily in a pocket and are virtually invisible, whereas the Y8+ requires a pouch and takes up significant space in a bag.
• Best for call quality in noisy offices → 1Mii Y8+: The over-ear design and advanced microphone array on the Y8+ are better suited for professional calls in busy environments compared to the compact T33.
• Best value for versatility → Ertuly T33: If your primary need is sleep and occasional travel, the T33 covers those bases efficiently without the bulk of a larger headset.
• Best for gaming immersion → 1Mii Y8+: The over-ear isolation and deep bass response make the Y8+ superior for experiencing the full scope of game audio and dialogue.
• Best for quick charging → Ertuly T33: Recharging in 1.5 hours is faster than the 3-hour charge time required for the Y8+, getting you back to listening sooner.
After weighing the distinct strengths of both devices, my recommendation depends entirely on how you intend to use them. If your goal is to find the best head phones for xbox that offer a rich, immersive audio experience and can last through multiple days of gaming without needing a recharge, the 1Mii Y8+ is the superior choice. Its 100-hour battery life and 40mm drivers provide a level of engagement and comfort that over-ear headphones simply deliver better than any earbud. However, if your priority is finding a reliable anc headphone for xbox for short bursts followed by a need to sleep peacefully without ear pressure, the Ertuly T33 is the winner. I would personally buy the 1Mii Y8+ for my daily gaming and travel setup because the battery longevity and sound quality justify the larger footprint, but I would keep the Ertuly T33 specifically for nights when I need to block out the world and rest.
Both devices connect via Bluetooth 6.0, which allows them to pair with Xbox controllers or mobile devices. However, direct console connectivity may vary depending on the specific Xbox model's Bluetooth capabilities, so checking your console's settings is recommended.
The Ertuly T33 is designed specifically for this purpose, featuring a hybrid ANC that blocks up to 98% of noise and an ultra-thin profile for side sleeping. The 1Mii Y8+ has excellent noise cancellation for travel and commuting but is too bulky for comfortable sleep.
The Ertuly T33 charges much faster, taking approximately 1.5 hours to fully charge the earbuds. The 1Mii Y8+ requires about 3 hours to reach a full charge, though its massive battery capacity means you won't need to charge it nearly as often.
Yes, the 1Mii Y8+ includes voice assistant controls and AI chat features accessible via the app. The Ertuly T33 focuses on touch controls for media and noise modes, with less emphasis on integrated AI voice features in its standard operation.
