Cydney is a passionate advocate for child well-being, inclusive education, and community-based learning. Currently studying in the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies at Carleton University, Cydney combines her academic interests in childhood development, trauma-informed practice, and the arts to create resources that are both research-informed and kid-friendly.

As the creator of Colouring Conversations, Cydney sought to design a tool that helps children express their emotions, thoughts, and stories through the accessible medium of colouring. Inspired by her experience in community volunteer work, youth mentorship, and interdisciplinary research, she believes in the power of creativity to foster meaningful connection and healing.

When she’s not studying or creating, Cydney is actively involved in youth empowerment initiatives and enjoys designing playful, inclusive learning experiences that centre children's voices.

Dan's passion for storytelling is fueled by a lifelong fascination with art, science, and space exploration. Diagnosed with ADHD at a young age, he channeled his imaginative energy into crafting intricate tales that captivate readers. With experience in digital art and a natural talent for weaving detailed, engaging narratives, Dan's debut series, "Universal Chronicles," showcases his ability to blend creativity with rich storytelling. His background as a skilled speaker and storyteller adds depth to his writing, making this series a must-read for fans of action-adventure and sci-fi. 

Kim Sundset is a project manager, author, and technical trainer with over twenty years of industry experience helping people and projects achieve their goals. Her focus is leveraging the talents of diverse people, developing solid processes, and practicing the art of consultation to transform organizations and build communities. Her passion is youth mentorship and empowering people to live their best. When Kim first saw the barriers facing many new authors, especially those from First Nation communities, she founded One Garden Publishing to help guide new authors through the self-publishing process.
