Hi! I’m Eunjeong JEONG (pronoun: she/her). I am a postdoctoral researcher at Linköping University in the Department of Computer and Information Science, working with Nikolaos Pappas. My research interests include semantic communications and energy-efficient distributed learning.
I obtained a Ph.D. in communication systems at EURECOM in Sophia-Antipolis, France, where Marios Kountouris was my advisor. I studied decentralized (=serverless) federated learning for communication efficiency during the doctoral program.
Before moving to France, I was at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea. Seong-Lyun Kim was my advisor during the master's program.
For more information, please check out my CV.
