Go Woo-seok takes the mound in practice game
San Diego Padres Kim Ha-seong (29) took a day off.
Ha-seong Kim missed the 2024 Major League Baseball (MLB) exhibition game against the Chicago Cubs held at Sloan Park in Mesa, Arizona, USA on the 26th (Korean time).
According to San Diego’s official blog, San Diego coach Mike Shildt said, “Kim Ha-seong played well yesterday as well. He explained the reason why Kim Ha-seong was not included in the lineup that day, saying, “It’s good to get a chance at the plate at the beginning of spring training, but we also need to strike a balance for the season.”
Ha-seong Kim, who played as the team's starting second baseman last year, will move to shortstop this year and prepare for the season. In his two exhibition game appearances, he is 2-for-2 with one hit, one RBI, and two walks.
With Ha-seong Kim absent that day, San Diego defeated the Cubs 7-0. They recently broke their three-game losing streak and reported their first win in an exhibition game.
Meanwhile, Go Woo-seok of San Diego took the mound and threw the ball in the team's practice game that day.
Ko Woo-seok, who signed with San Diego through the posting system (private competitive bidding) this off-season, has not yet played in a single exhibition game. 일본야동
