This 1994 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4x4 w/ 5 speed had spent its entire life in New Mexico until late 2015 when I purchased it site unseen at the Albuquerque International Sunport with 184,796 miles. I then proceeded to drive it over 800 miles to Houston, Texas with zero issues where it lived for two years before moving to the DFW area (where it has spent the rest of my ownership). No, this truck was not present during any of the Houston flooding as I had moved several months beforehand. The truck currently sits at 209,607 miles (with a clean Texas title) although this number will increase periodically as I occasionally drive it to work.

As you will see below, this 4Runner has been maintained to a high standard, mostly with Toyota parts, and has quality upgrades with desirable factory options. All repairs were rendered by reputable shops or myself (Mechanical Engineer with car obsession). I have addressed the common failure points of the 3VZ engine, including head gaskets and engine knock sensor/harness during my ownership. This truck is extremely capable, cruises smoothly on the highway, idles quietly, and shifts great. It still looks good and receives attention at gas stations, restaurants, and while driving. Everything works, including the cruise control, moonroof/rear window, and rear heater. The seat belts do not drag on retract and there are zero rattles inside, seriously this is old school 90s Toyota quality maintained by enthusiast owners.

During my six years of ownership I have only averaged 4,100 miles per year, most of that has been highway during visits to see family in Austin, Texas. In addition to those trips the 4Runner has embarked on several "overland" style adventures including off-roading, camping, and long highway trips throughout Texas and Arkansas.

This 4Runner has spent its entire life in New Mexico, Arizona, and Texas. I have extensive records of all services and most maintenance (see images). Factory VIN tags/labels are present on every door and panel.

Why am I selling this 4Runner? I have a Land Rover Discovery 1 and an e36 M3 demanding my attention and funds. Yes, I will miss the Toyota reliability / manufacturing quality.
