From Kaohsiung International Airport (KHH) - [40 min. journey]
Take the Red MRT line to Formosa Blvd, transfer to the Orange MRT to Hamasen (Sizihwan) Station, and then walk or take the campus shuttle directly to NSYSU.
From Kaohsiung Train/Bus Station - [30 min. journey]
Take the No. 248 bus directly to the NSYSU Tunnel Entrance and then walk through the scenic Sizihwan Tunnel onto the campus.
From Zuoying Taiwan High Speed Rail Station - [40 min. journey]

NMMBA is located on Taiwan’s southern coast in Pingtung County, adjacent to Kenting National Park. Spanning over 96.8 hectares, the site combines a sprawling outdoor water park with three major exhibit halls. It also hosts two research buildings and an aquatic life experiment center, enabling advanced studies in marine biology, aquaculture, and conservation. Visiting researchers and conference guests are often granted exclusive access via a separate entrance, ensuring smooth access to labs and behind-the-scenes areas. NMMBA is also ranked among Asia's top aquaria.
Kenting National Park, located at Taiwan’s southernmost tip, is a breathtaking landscape where lush tropical forests meet stunning coastlines. The park encompasses diverse attractions — from the windswept cliffs and endless sea views of Longpan Park, to the dramatic coral rock formations and panoramic ocean vistas at Maobitou. Inland, the Kenting National Forest Recreation Area offers shaded trails that weave through ancient banyan trees and limestone caves. Nearby lies the historic Hengchun township, famous for its well-preserved city walls from the Qing dynasty and charming old streets.
