Passport:
Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your planned departure date from South Korea.
Attendees shoulsd carry a photocopy of their passport ID page and keep it separate from the actual passport as a backup.
Visa Requirements:
Tourist/Visa-Free Entry: U.S. citizens can enter South Korea without a visa for tourism or business purposes for up to 90 days. However, other nationalities should check visa requirements before traveling.
K-ETA (Korea Electronic Travel Authorization):The government of the Republic of Korea announced that from April 1, 2023, to December 31, 2024, the Korean Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA) is no longer required for U.S. citizens visiting Korea for 90 days or less for business or tourism. Entry/Exit Form: All travelers will need to complete an arrival card upon entry to South Korea and a departure card upon leaving. These are provided on the airplane or can be found at the airport.
Military ID (if applicable):For participants who are active-duty military, retired military, or dependents, remember to carry your military ID along with your passport to access USAG Yongsan.
