The 2026 A3 Symposium marks the 16th joint symposium among Japan, China, and Korea, continuing the strong tradition built through previous meetings held across the three countries. This year, the symposium will be held in Daejeon, Republic of Korea, from November 5 to 7, 2026.
The symposium will highlight recent advances in emerging materials, with a particular focus on the synthesis, characterization, and applications of nanomaterials. Key topics include nanocarbons such as graphene, carbon nanotubes, and fullerenes; emerging two-dimensional materials including transition metal dichalcogenides; and a broad range of related nanomaterials. Their applications in electronics, energy, and environmental technologies will also be discussed.
The program will feature invited oral presentations and contributed poster sessions. Each participating country will designate a symposium chair and select invited speakers, while poster presenters will be chosen through a review of submitted abstracts.
On behalf of the organizing committee, we sincerely thank all participants, speakers, and supporters for their valuable contributions to the symposium. We warmly look forward to welcoming you to Daejeon for an inspiring and productive symposium this November.
