The park is located near the city of Felton and resides in Santa Cruz County. It also partly borders the campus of UC Santa Cruz, the mascot of which can be found in the park (the Banana Slug).The park consists of two parts, one that retains the name of the park and the other part which is called the Fall Creek Unit. The park is home to giant redwood trees which can grow up to 300 ft! Below you will find a visitor's map of the park which can be clicked on to expand.

Over Thanksgiving break I was lucky enough to go hiking through the Henry Cowell Redwoods portion of the park with my family. Below you will find some of the awesome sights and scenes we came across in a photo journal.
