Call for papers

The 15th Workshop “Tourism: Economics and Management. Tourist as Consumers, Visitors and Travellers” will be held at the University of Jaén (Spain) on October 25-27, 2023. The program will consist of contributed and invited paper sessions. This edition of the workshop will be focused, especially, on the topic "Tourism and Economic development", although papers on other tourism-related topics will be accepted.

The workshop is organized by “REDEGETUR: Red Iberoamericana de Economía y Gestión del Turismo” (REDEGETUR website).

The conference will be in-person. No hybrid or online format.

Prospective contributors are invited to send the abstract version of their papers (500 words) before June 30th, 2023, by email to the Scientific Committee at the following e-mail address: 15ws.turismo@gmail.com

All contributors will be notified about the selection (by no later than 31st July, 2023).

Authors will be required to send the full paper or an extended abstract of approximately 2,000 words before September 30th, 2023, by email to the Scientific Committee at the following e-mail address: 15ws.turismo@gmail.com

The workshop is open to the participation of the international scientific community: the language of the presentation will be the native language of each author, although the slides (ppt) should be in English. Registration is free of charge and local expenses (two nights’ hotel and meals) will be covered by the workshop organization.
