We are pleased to announce that the 14th Workshop Formal Linguistics (14WFL at UFRJ 2024) will be held in honor of its founder, Ana Müller (USP).

Minicourses: Ana Müller and Louise McNally

We invite abstract submissions for 20-minute talks (plus 10 minutes for discussion) and/or posters on any topic on formal linguistics, such as:

* Formal Phonology
* Formal Morphology
* Formal Syntax
* Formal Semantics
* Formal Pragmatics
* Grammar Interfaces Issues in a Formal Approach

* Formal Linguistics contributions to Education and Learning

As well as interface phenomena (syntax-semantics, syntax-prosody, morpho-syntax, morpho-phonology, semantics-pragmatics, lexical semantics, language acquisition, language change, language processing, etc).

All abstracts should be anonymous, written in English, with no more than two pages long (including examples and references), in A4 format, with 2.5 cm margins, single-spaced, and with font size 12pt (Times New Roman). Submissions are limited to one individual and one joint abstract per author, or two joint abstracts per author.

When you submit your abstract please indicate whether you would like it to be considered:

(i) for a talk only;

(ii) for a talk or a poster;

(iii) for a poster only.

December 15 – January 31 February 15 – submission deadline

March 15 April 03 – notification of acceptance

March 25 April 15 – final program
