Designer Commentary 

“I was given the role to draw Lola Ineng so I did old lady character studies based from pictures of real old ladies or cartoon ones. I took inspiration from the Golden Girls as I practice, I have yet to see the show. I just saw compilations of them being savage but fascinated how they have different features. But mind you this is just practice because it’s been a while since I’ve drawn old people”

“It was before I asked what Lola Ineng was like, no idea of her personality so I drew random old women. I then asked and was told that she is nice and unassuming, it will be a surprise. When I showed the design to everyone, the one that finally put character to it. The folks in the company agreed. Lyn also liked how it resembles her grand-daughter Mel as Lyn is the one designing Mel."
