The Mating Season
1 - To Deverill We Will Go
Bertie has Tosh Gregson, the younger son of Aunt Agatha, staying with him for a few days and then see him off to his school at Brampton-on-sea, after which Bertie will proceed to Deverill Hall, where he will lend some Metropolitan flavour to the local village concert, Deverill Hall being the residence of Esmond Haddock and his aunts. Jeeves fills him in on the reason why Gussie Fink-Nottle will also be there: Madeline Bssett, his fiancée, wants to present him to Dame Daphne Winkworth, her godmother. He also tells Bertie that Catsmeat Pirbright and his sister Corky called during his absence. Then a visitor is announced and it is Catsmeat who turns up.
