Right Ho, Jeeves
12 - Larder Time
Thinking about why Gussie could not get to proposing to Honoria Glossop Bertie decides it must have been a lack of alcohol. Tuppy comes in and tells that last night when he went to the kitchen to get a steak-and-kidney pie from the larder he was joined by both Aunt Dahlia and Angela, the latter of which pointed out emphatically that his overweight was due to overeating. Tuppy still thinks Angela's estrangement is caused by someone she met while in Cannes, and Bertie assures him that no one could have come close to her because he himself was with her there all the time. This does not seem to reassure Tuppy, but then the gong sounds and he makes a beeline for the breakfast table.
