With Bertie standing before the closed garage door Jeeves shows up and offers to give Bertie time to escape while he will open the garage door and reason with Lord Percy. Bertie moves back to Boko and Nobby in the cottage, where he tells Boko that his uncle is in the garage, cursing him for locking him in there. Then Lord Percy, still in Bertie's Sindbad the Sailor costume, appears with Jeeves in his wake. Steaming mad at Boko he calls for his horsewhip, of which Jeeves informs him that Lady Agatha Worplesdon, unexpectedly returned last night, probably knows the whereabouts. Lord Percy cringes at this information.
