Bertie recaps the state of affairs the next morning with Jeeves at breakfast, Augustus the cat joining in with a kipper. Aunt Dahlia got Tuppy his money so that he and Angela can get married, Ginger has got his Magnolia and Spode his Madeline and a black eye to boot, Bertie himself is once more off the marrying hook and the Junior Ganymede club book is safe again. On top of it Jeeves informs Bertie that he has removed the eighteen pages in the book concerning him, on the assumption that his employment with Bertie will be a permanent one, to which Bertie wholeheartedly agrees.
