Bertie is standing on a chair in Wilbert's room to look for the cow creamer on top of an armoire when Bobbie comes in, startling him and causing him to fall. Bobbie disappears, but Adela Cream finds Bertie in the room and only half believes his explanation that he was looking for a mouse. She leaves. Bobbie comes in again and promises to keep a lookout for mrs. Cream, who returns but without a warning from Bobbie. Bertie finds Bobbie leaving Brinkley in her car and realizes that he should have invited Kipper Herring. He sends him a cable and Kipper shows up right away…
