Bertie and Jeeves arrive at Brinkley where Bertie meets Aunt Dahlia, who tells him that Uncle Tom has sold the cow creamer to Wilbert. Bobbie shows up and says that her love for Kipper is over. When Kipper shows up he says that after Bobbie's reaction to his letter he decided to get engaged to Phyllis Mills to prevent Wilbert from proposing to her. Bobbie caught him kissing Phyllis and gives him the cold shoulder. Then Phyllis comes in.
