We greet you on this day and we are delighted to invite you to participate in the 12th Río Abierto International Meeting in the city of Rio de Janeiro, which has the cross-cutting theme of beingnature: for all relationships.

There will be 40 workshops, discussion groups, exhibitions and lots of interaction between people from different countries and places in Brazil. Come and practice in the presence of the inseparable relationship between art and life!

Río Abierto is a work system started in Argentina in the 60s by María Adela Palcos. It is a school of body and group practices for the integral development of the being. And, as Krenak has told us in recent years, it is also about getting involved, acting locally, cultivating and being grateful for what the Earth gives us.

We are life in life and therefore movement. Our work seeks to trigger this broader awareness.

We invite you to experience and cultivate, inside and out, the micro and macro relationships with the world, our existential territories and ourselves. For three days, we will be a body that listens, a vital expression, a skin that thinks, a gesture that speaks of that which often inhabits us and cannot be put into words, but has existence. Affection.

Between what is and what could be — there is that which pulsates. Reality is sovereign and creative. And that is where we dance and are power plants.

We are living in an unprecedented moment that calls us to a careful and strong repositioning. How are we in this society that has become increasingly individualistic and violent?

Come closer in this search for different languages ​​that can expand Understanding and the scope of Rio Aberto as a world-creating practice! We invest in human richness and diversity, articulated with plants, fungi, minerals, animals, and inventions such as technology. More than 80 hours of work will be offered:

• Workshops on bodywork and expressive vital movement with instructors from Europe and Latin America.
  Confirmed presence of Graciela Figueroa, president of the Río Abierto International Committee.

• Classes and lectures with international guests.

• Gallery with an exhibition of the works with Río Abierto carried out in Brazil and around the world.
