The SSLG aims to develop leadership among students and encourage them to be responsible, disciplined, and service-oriented individuals who contribute to the school’s goals and uphold the values of integrity, excellence, and social responsibility and to represent the voice of the student body, promote student welfare, uphold discipline, leadership, and service, and actively participate in the development of the school and community

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government that is currently led by Ms. Kate Yvanne S. Villaruz and her officers with the guidance and support of the SSLG Adviser, Mr. Jesrell Rey B. Fondevilla and School head, Mr. Percival M. Reginio continues to give projects which aims to be beneficial to the students and to empower the students voices.

EDUCATION

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) plays a vital role in promoting academic growth and leadership development among students through its various educational programs. These initiatives aim to enhance learners’ knowledge, skills, and values beyond the classroom, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and active citizenship. By organizing activities such as tutorials, seminars, literacy campaigns, and academic competitions, the SSLG ensures that every student is given the opportunity to reach their full potential and become well-rounded individuals prepared for future challenges.

GradeGuru Year 2

GradeGuru is a program conducted quarterly for the students of Carlos P. Romulo Senior High School. The program aims to prepare students for the quarterly exam with the help of other students in a peer tutoring style. Moreover, GradeGuru also provides reviewers to better prepare students for every quarterly exam.

Educational Seminars

On a monthly basis, the SSLG supports and organize a seminar which aims to equip students with important life and educational knowledge which they can use in their lives.

Buwan Ng Wika

The celebration of Buwan Ng Wika served as a hunt for students who have the potential and skills to be a campus journalist.

Digital Literacy

The SSLG promotes digital literacy in the modern world by providing tips on how to use multiple apps and maximizing these online platforms.

Promoting Awareness

Promoting Awareness in various topics has always been the advocacy of the SSLG. Topics such as mental health awareness and bullying and discrimination awareness are priority.

Educational Posts

The SSLG Provides educational posters through an FB Page to keep learners and viewers educated on the dangers in times of calamities and needs.

WELLNESS

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) promotes not only academic excellence but also the holistic well-being of students through its wellness programs and school celebrations. Activities such as Foundation Week, cultural festivals, and other school-wide events provide opportunities for learners to relax, express their talents, and strengthen camaraderie. These programs aim to create a fun, engaging, and inclusive environment where students can take a break from academic stress while fostering school spirit, unity, and a sense of belonging within the campus community.

Foundation Week

Every year, the SSLG supports and organize a foundation week to celebrate the school's anniversary, this allows students to create a stronger relationship within the school community.

Graduation Ball

Last year, the very first graduation ball of Carlos P. Romulo Senior High School happened, this graduation ball is a tribute for the graduating class and to congratulate them in completing their senior high school journey.

Gulayan Sa Paaralan

Gulayan sa paaralan serves a way in releasing stress. The SSLG belives that by planting plants, it does not only help the nature but also helps the students clear their mind while planting.

Pistang Pinoy

The pistang pinoy is a variety of provinces which was imitated by each section to promote and remember the cultures of different provinces in the Philippines.

SSLG holds multiple programs to ensure the wellness of the students, it ensures that the students are having fun while learning.

SUPPORT

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) upholds the values of compassion, social responsibility, and community service through its support programs. Initiatives such as donation drives, outreach activities, and relief operations are organized to extend help to those in need and to inspire students to take part in meaningful acts of kindness. These programs aim to nurture empathy and volunteerism among learners, encouraging them to become active contributors to the welfare of others and to embody the true spirit of bayanihan within and beyond the school community.

Student Help Desk

This project aims to be a place where students can seek help in any ways. Student help desk serves as a way for the SSLG to hear the program needs of students.

Donation Drive

The donation drive aims to support students who are greatly affected by the calamities.

Free Breakfast

The Free Breakfast on Day 2 is in collaboration with ABM Club, it aims to give students the right nutrition before taking their quarterly exams.

DIVISION FEDERATION OF SUPREME SECONDARY LEARNER GOVERNMENT

Carlos P. Romulo Senior High School SSLG President, Kate Yvanne S. Villaruz was elected as the Congressional District 1 of Quezon City Representative.

Educational Summit

The launching of anti Bullying and Discrimination campaign which was attended by the SSLG President, Kate Yvanne Villaruz and Vice President, John Luther Avancena.

Linggo Ng Kabataan

The linggo ng kabataan which is a project of Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of Quezon City where student leaders acted as counterpart of government officials. This was attended by the SSLG President, Kate Yvanne Villaruz who acted as a little department head of City General Services and Vice President, John Luther Avancena who served as counterpart of Coun. Bernard Herrera.

Obesity Summit 2025

The obesity summit is a collaboration between the QC government and Danish Embassy, it talked about obesity and it was attended by the SSLG President, Kate Yvanne Villaruz and SSLG treasurer, Cassandra Belen.

147th Anniversary of Quezon City

The 147rh anniversary of quezon city was celebrated in Quezon Memorial Circle. SSLG President Kate Villaruz has the chance to witness this ceremony.
