Crystallize Labs entered a crowded skincare market with a focus on ingredient transparency and scientific rigor. Their core challenge was translating this commitment to clarity into a digital experience that felt trustworthy, premium, and easy for customers to navigate without feeling overwhelmed by technical jargon. The launch required a robust e-commerce platform and a brand identity that was both minimalist and warm.
My role was end-to-end: leading the Visual Identity definition and designing the complete responsive e-commerce platform.
Visual Identity: Developed a clean, minimalist aesthetic using a soft, cool color palette (icy blues and subtle whites) and sharp, modern typography. The goal was to visually convey the scientific purity of the products.
Ingredient Clear UI/UX: The central user challenge was making complex information accessible. I designed the unique "Transparency Tracker"—an interactive module on each product page. This module allows users to drill down into the origin, sourcing, and clinical data of every ingredient via a progressive disclosure system, building immediate confidence and reducing bounce rate.
Simple E-commerce Flow: Simplified the entire purchasing journey. I streamlined the product categorisation, reducing the typical three-step checkout process to a single, fluid page. The mobile-first design ensured high performance and usability across all devices.
