Ayano (Aya) Jeffers-Fabro has been involved in environmental justice, food sovereignty, and place-based education efforts ever since she was a young girl. As a Hawai’i-born & raised, mixed woman of color, Ayano has spent her life working in the environmental and food justice sector focusing on place-based environmental youth development; inter-generational knowledge sharing; empowerment of PoC communities. She has shared these passions with her family, friends, and colleagues – carrying her malama ka `aina mentality with her everywhere that she goes. Reina is a sacred birth keeper and doula living in Southern California. She provides doula services to the those who are traditionally underserved as well as the general public. You can find or contact Reina on Instagram.

Besides being on our board of directors Greg is shepherding multiple projects in Oakland, CA that are focused on sustainable, non-extractive, pro-people economic development. Greg holds a J.D. from Golden Gate University and a BA from San Diego State. He is also the Equal Justice Works Fellow for the Sustainable Economies Law Center and a co-founder of Repaired Nations.
