1ᵗʰ national scientific day

Preface

The organizing committee is pleased to invite you to the 1st edition of the National Scientific Day (1ᵗʰ NSD 2025), to be held on November 22ᵗʰ, 2025. Under the theme "Artificial Intelligence and Sustainable Development: Interdisciplinary Approaches in the Natural and Life Sciences," this day will be held in a hybrid format, combining in-person and remote participation for broader access.

We are at the dawn of a new era where artificial intelligence (AI) is emerging as a major driver of transformation across all sectors of society. At the same time, the urgency of environmental and social challenges calls on us to rethink our development models for a more sustainable future. The convergence of these two fields offers unprecedented prospects for addressing the crucial issues of the 21ˢᵗ  century, from protecting ecosystems to optimizing natural resources.

This first national scientific day aims to be a crossroads for exchange and reflection, bringing together researchers, academics, doctoral students, and socio-economic actors. The objective is to explore and debate the synergies between AI and the natural and life sciences to promote sustainable development. The discussions will highlight significant advances, challenges to be overcome, and the opportunities offered by AI in various fields. please explore the section access and accommodation at the bottom.

The day will be structured around five key thematic sessions designed to encourage interdisciplinary approaches:

1. explore how AI, particularly through deep learning methods, is revolutionizing the collection, classification, and analysis of biological data, opening new avenues for fundamental and applied research.

2. Speakers will discuss the role of AI in accelerating innovation in biotechnology, from designing new molecules to optimizing production processes.

3. focus on the applications of AI to optimize agricultural production, reduce food waste, and improve the quality and traceability of products.

4. Discussions will focus on the contribution of AI to ecosystem modeling, biodiversity monitoring, and the sustainable management of natural resources.

5. address the ethical, societal, and governance issues related to the integration of AI in these fields, as well as the needs for training and infrastructure for the responsible deployment of these technologies.

We are convinced that the fruitful exchanges and collaborations that will arise from this day will contribute to shaping a future where technological innovation is put at the service of the common good and the preservation of our planet. We look forward to welcoming many of you to share your work, your ideas, and your vision.

The conference topics will include five sessions, composed by oral, and poster presentations :

• First session : Biological Sciences and Artificial Intiligence;

• Second session : Biotechnologies and Artificial Intiligence;

• Third session : Food Science and Artificial Intiligence;

• Fourth session : Ecology, Environment and Artificial Intiligence;

• Fifth session : Cross-Cutting Challenges.
