Hearts & Hands strengthens community connection by addressing loneliness, isolation, and unmet everyday needs, especially among seniors and families. Through intergenerational support and practical assistance, the program pairs human connection with tangible help. Hearts & Hands is grounded in the belief that care is most effective when it is relational, consistent, and rooted in dignity.
As part of this work, Hearts & Hands creates and donates handmade items, such as crocheted blankets and comfort goods, to provide warmth, dignity, and a visible expression of care to community members and clients.
Strong Start focuses on community-based health education, prevention, and navigation support for families, particularly within immigrant and underserved communities. The program helps individuals understand their health, access care, and make informed decisions through culturally responsive education and practical guidance. Our goal is to support healthier outcomes early and reduce preventable barriers to care.
