Welcome to 09 Intelligence Group
09 Intelligence is a group of like-minded students interested in pursuing a career in intelligence.
Unlike other industries such media, arts or laws, the security and intelligence industry have very few internship opportunities. Even with the few opportunities that are there, they can be very competitive.
Our group conducts open source (OSINT) intelligence projects that build skills in areas such as analysis, communications, project management, critical thinking and more.
We founded our group in August 2025, and we want to provide members with professional development opportunities that have real-world impacts, to kickstart their careers.
Our work
Students gain practical skills in OSINT collection and analysis either in one or more of these areas, or an area of their own interest. We work on projects in the following areas:
Counter Terrorism
Defence
Conflict
International relations
Cyber security
Technology
Politics
Business
Finance
Health
Public Safety
Climate
Crime
Media Centre
The Media Centre is where we publish our reports for public review. We post reports that have been prepared by our intelligence team. These reports often take the form of "explainers" surrounding topics of current global affairs. Our goal is to keep the public informed with a balanced view on news and current affairs. Our agenda is to ensure you receive the right information to make the right choices.
