1) Prep your sketch/lineart

2) Use an airbrush to add lighter colour where the light hits & darker colour for the shadows, this is your base highlight & shading

3) Add a new layer above your base colour & sketch/lineart layers

4) Using a medium-dark colour to section the hair. In this part, you can also add various strands in between the sections to create messy hair.

5) On the same layer, pick your base colour & start blending it with the medium-dark colour to soften the transition between strands & base.

6) And you're done, good job!!
