Lost in Time—the original name was 2023 project. I created it myself on 16 November 2023. At the same time, I also created the apparition character Nyx and his human friend Isshi, who manage ShengYue Funeral Home.

At first, Nyx was the main character, but in early 2024 the focus changed to Chen Yuan, and the title became Exorcism: Eyes of Redemption.

The story itself stayed mostly the same, still focusing on exorcists, exorcism, and apparitions. In mid 2024, I created an orphanage in Dreamland as a side story of EEOR, with the characters Yang Xiu Juan and Anzhelina. This part was inspired by Alice in Wonderland, but the characters were based on other fairytales; Yang Xiu Juan as Little Red Riding Hood and Anzhelina remaining as Alice.

In late 2025, I finally finished the main plot points and gave the story the title Lost in Time. This story is just for fun and for me to introduce my OCs to the world because I’m scared that when I die, no one will know that my children ever existed.

Exorcism: Eyes of Redemption–was the story before I changed it into Lost in Time–with Chen Yuan as the main character and the setting taking place in ShengYue Funeral Home.

Chen Yuan wakes up in Isshi’s morgue with no memories but a memory of him when he was a child and his twin sister ran together in a garden.

At first, I wanted to make EEOR as an RPG game because my 15-year-old self was really influenced by horror RPG games.

In the end, I changed EEOR into LiT. Chen Yuan will still exist in LiT as a side character, and I might turn EEOR into a side story of LiT.
