About Mrs. Palmer

I have been teaching mathematics for 12 years with the last seven years here at Victor Senior High School. I love working with the students and parents at VSHS, and have taught both Mathematics and Special Education so far in my time here. I received Bachelors degrees in Mathematics and Inclusive Early Childhood/Childhood Education, and a Masters degree in Inclusive Adolescence Education from Nazareth College. I enjoy spending time in my classroom helping students make sense of mathematics and become confident in applying their knowledge and skills. I also love being on the softball fields coaching the young women involved the Victor softball program.

My Beliefs as a Mathematics Educator

Everyone can be a "math person"

Everyone can get better at mathematics

Hard work and repeated effort are necessary for success

Beyond the classroom, I have been married to my husband, Ian, for six years. We have two daughters and two dogs. You can often find my family spending school breaks visiting family or spending time in the Adirondack Mountain region.

If you have any questions or concerns throughout the school year please do not hesitate to contact me either by phone or e-mail. I look forward to working with you this school year!
