Algebra 1

Algebra IA/B is a full year co-taught course meeting every day of the four-day cycle. Upon successful completion of the course, students will earn two of the three required math credits. Students will take the New York State Common Core Algebra exam in June.

Here are the supplies you will need for the year:

· One 3-ring binder (1 1/2" or 2")

· One-subject spiral notebook

· Loose-leaf notebook paper

· Sharpened pencils

· Graphing Calculator (TI-84 Plus is recommended but a TI-83 Plus will also work)*

Daily Filled In Notes - Use the drop down Algebra 1 menu above to access daily lessons

Homework Calendar - Can be found in Google Classroom

* Graphing calculators will be used for classroom activities and will be needed to complete selected homework assignments.

IMPORTANT SECURITY INFORMATION…Graphing calculators are easily lost or stolen. Make sure you can easily identify your calculator! Engrave or write your name on it, paint the back of it, put stickers on it, etc. Also, be sure to record your calculator ID number with your math teacher!

Also…please clip and bring in your proof of purchase from your graphing calculator. We can send them into Texas Instruments and receive free products for our classroom!
