About Miss. Caseria

HELLO! I am so excited that your child is in my 4th grade class this year. I'm Mikela Caseria and this is my 2nd year here at Sunset Lake Elementary. I graduated from Aquinas College, in Grand Rapids; majoring in Elementary Education and Social Studies. I also played volleyball and women's lacrosse at AQ. I am the Assistant Varsity Volleyball coach at VHS! Go Dawgs! I was lucky enough to be born and raised in Hawaii. Yes, I am okay with the snow :) I just recently got engaged to Casey. He is a PE teacher at Portage Central Elementary school. We also just bought a house! So it is a very exciting time of year :)

I love sports, to cook and be with family. I enjoy a good book and quotes. My goal in life is to continue to inspire youth to be the best version of themselves and have the motivation to achieve whatever they choose to!
