Writing

This year, we will be exploring various writing styles and I hope that you develop a true passion for writing. We will examine different modes of writing: narrative, expository, descriptive, argumentative (persuasive), as well as public speaking skills. In addition to writing, basic language mechanics are taught through mentor sentences and grammar lessons. Grades will be taken from in class assignments, assessments and various classroom activities.
