I LOVE TO TEACH!!! That's the first thing you should know about me. It still excites me every day to go into my classroom and be a part of my students' A-HA moments!
I have been teaching in Alabama since 2002. I graduated from Auburn University in '98 with an undergrad degree in Radio, Television, Film. I received my master's degree in secondary education (English Language Arts) from the University of Montevallo in 2002. Later on in my career, I was encouraged to teach gifted education. Being a life-long learner, I jumped at the opportunity to go back to school at Samford University and get certified in gifted education.
I have been married for over 18 years and have two wonderful sons. We have a German Shepherd named Sasha and a cat named Boo Boo Kitty.
