This proposed work is an overview of how we made use of Servo Motors to make joints of a Robotic Arm and control it. Our Robotic Arm is placed on a four wheel cart whose movements are controlled via an android application remotely. This application is also responsible for the movements of the Robotic Arm. The cart has a compartment where we kept the brain of our project i.e. Arduino Mega board along with other electronic components. The cart model is capable of making movements in 8 directions and the arm model is capable of grabbing and putting stuffs. This model also carries a camera and the real time video is streamed on the same application so that the operator can grab a drink from the kitchen while chilling in their own room.
Nevertheless, the coolest feature of this robot is the ability to store the movements and then automatically repeat them.
The main motivation behind this project is to increase ease and standards of living. Since Industry has benefited drastically from the expanse of robotics, why not bring Robotics home? Robots never gets tired. They can be programmed to do specific task again and again. They can save a lot of time and human efforts.
Robotic arm is one of the major projects in today automation industries. They handle tasks that are difficult, dangerous or boring to human beings. This field is offering job opportunities and apply mastery in diverse fields like modern warfare, nano-technology, surgery, etc.
We did research on Robotics and found that the development of the world depends on how far Robotics and Artificial Intelligence are explored. So, we used Servo Motors to create six axial motion based robot which can technically replace human beings at a small extent. Knowing that Smartphone is something every human use all the time, we created an android application to control the robot through Thunkable. We used 3D printer to make the arm of the robot. We took a model from Thingiverse and edited the parts in Fusion 360 as per our needs. We referred You-tube videos and multiple blogs to build our code and interfaced with the android application.

This project could be used in many ways, such as shifting objects from one place to another, arranging objects in a manner, objects can be moved as per input given, it has 4 wheel drive so it can move anywhere.
