Vivek holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business, Stanford University (U.S.A.) and Bachelors in Civil Engineering from National Institute of Technology (Surathkal) Karnataka India. He has also taken PhD Courses in Marketing and Psychology from Carnegie Mellon University, the U.S.A. where he did research in psychology in effect of discrete emotions on decision-making.

With a team of over 100 personal mentors from leading colleges and companies, GyanAngels is rapidly attracting students and professionals from across India and globally and destined to social transform learning of individuals as well as impact institutions (family, schools, colleges, companies).

Vivek is a recognized innovator, leader and entrepreneur having launched successfully a global business for the Tata Group. He has valuable global experience across the private and the government sectors in both India and the U.S.A. having served the Government of India (Ministry of Railways) as an officer of the prestigious Indian Railways Service of Engineers (IRSE) of 1988 Exam Batch. He has unique interdisciplinary skills across psychology, philosophy, sales, operations, product development, consulting, mergers and acquisition advisory, corporate finance, private equity investing; and civil engineering.

Vivek has a strong public sector mindset aiming to serve the masses. In 2011, Planning Commission, The Government of India co-opted him as Member, Steering Committee on the Transport Sector, for the formulation of the National Transport Policy for the Twelfth Five Year Plan (2012-17).
